Holy Name Society Golf Sponsorship

I represent the retired members of the Brooklyn-Queens Holy Name Society of the New York City Police Department. We are a religious organization representing both active and retired members of the Department who work. or have worked in the boroughs of Brooklyn or Queens.

The retired members of the society are in the process of organizing our Thirtieth Annual Golf Outing in memory of our deceased. members. The event is being held on October 5^th, 2023 at the Timber Point Country Club. The proceeds will go into our college scholarship fund, which benefits children of our membership. As we all know, the rising cost of tuition can place a great deal of financial stress on the family as well as the student.

To offset the cost of this event and so as to continue to develop a viable scholarship fund, we are hoping to attain corporate sponsorship. We would appreciate your consideration in sponsoring a hole, and or donating prizes. The cost for sponsorship is $100.00. Each sponsor will be recognized at the tee by a placard identifying the company as the sponsor of the hole. For an additional $SO dollars we have a beautiful wooden plaque that will be placed on the course and is suitable for framing. After the outing, you will be presented with the placard or the plaque.

In addition, you are more than welcome to golf with us on the 5^th. We begin with a full breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Tee off time is 9:00 am, with a shotgun start. All golfers will receive a hat, sleeve of balls, and tees before we start. Included in the cost are golf fees and carts. Hotdogs, burgers, beer, and soda will be available at the turnaround. After golf, there is a three-hour open bar with an extraordinary dinner. During dinner, there are raffles both given and sold for various prizes. In addition, awards will be given for longest drive, closest to the pin, low gross and low net.

We are always looking for sponsorship at our Annual Golf Outing. By raising money through sponsorship, we are able to maintain our membership dues, which are only $20 for active and $10 for retired. These prices are the lowest of all the organizations. In addition, it allows us to maintain a viable scholarship fund. It only costs $100 per hole.
